'Very exciting PSB news announced soon'

#1 Post by dVTB »

I just got an e-mail from Parlophone about the Robbie & PSB single. It features a rather remarkable sentence:
Pet Shop Boys and Robbie Williams news

"She's Madonna", the Robbie Williams and Pet Shop Boys collaboration, is released
as a single on 5th March. Robbie, Chris and Neil wrote the song, one of the
highlights of Robbie's "Rudebox" album with Pet Shop Boys handling the
production. The latest issue of the Observer Music Monthly has just named it one
of its top five tracks of March explaining:

"Rudebox is Williams's best album and this Pet Shop Boys collaboration is the
perfect introduction to it. Dumping a less favoured suitor in the wake of a
better offer from the Material Girl herself - 'I love you baby, but face it,
she's Madonna' - Robbie (in his dreams, at least) achieves the perfect blend of
deference and braggadocio."

As a special digital treat and for a limited time only you can get the exclusive
download-only Dark Horse Remix of She's Madonna which is available to pre-order
now from www.7digital.com/robbie. If you pre-order this track before midnight on
March 5th you'll also get access to an exclusive clip of Robbie live.

The single is also available on 2-track CD :

Maxi-CD : http://email.parlophone.co.uk/a/tBF3yTG ... cm4/link15
and DVD : http://email.parlophone.co.uk/a/tBF3yTG ... cm4/link16

featuring spectacular remixes from the likes of Chris Lake, Kris Menace and
Switch, you can get it now from

There'll be some VERY exciting Pet Shop Boys news announced soon, so keep
checking www.petshopboys.co.uk :

I really wonder what that could be.

I don't think so. "Very" in capital letters. I think something really interesting is going to happen.

Don't you mean the England tour? Seeing as they don't seem to be coming further north than Gateshead. 8)

I'm sure they won't ignore the Scottish fans, especially given that Hogmanay was cancelled. I was surprised that Edinburgh wasn't one of the locations.

I'm surprised as well that Edinburgh isn't included, especially after Hogmanay. That's why I'm so annoyed.

New music (single or ep) since they have been in the studio working on new music, and a new album is'nt going to happen for a couple of years?

Residency like Somewhere at the Savoy?

Disco 4?
