Realistically speaking, it's just going to be an announcement of the UK tour dates. This isn't news, let alone very exciting news, to most of us, but it's the kind of thing that you'd expect promotional mass-email to hype to the skies. No ballet (thank God!). Maybe they'll mention the tour DVD, but I wonder whether it makes sense to release that while the tour is about to enter a new leg -- would it generate more excitement about the tour or just undercut it?

My feeling is that it will be a new single to coincide with the European tour. Wasn't there some mention of new material being released a week or two ago?

Either that or the email was composed before the new tour dates became public.

It's about the tour, no doubt. Just because the email said it was news doesn't mean it's going to be news to US.
