You can now preview the full 7" edit on Euphoric.

Thanks, Dave!

Any one heard of 'I'd Just Died in Your Arms' by Cutting Crew?

Where can you actually buy the full length PSB mix of Read My Mind in the UK??

Seems like the STUPID (WHAT'S WRONG WITH THEM) record companies only have the edit version available on the CD single.

So is there a place to buy an import single with the full length version or a decent download site where I can get it that isn't at a rubbish 128 Kbits/s?!!

Makes me mad all this format idiocy. At least now I see it isn't exclusive to PSB's own releases.....

Well, well, well... the jury's finally out on this one.

I was quite interested as to how PSB would remix the song as the original version was bland, and left me rather unimpressed, to say the least.

The remix made the music more 'interesting' (aw, was it Neil's voice in the background..). But I really can't see the appeal re the voice and lyrics. :? Still bland by all accounts.

As they say, can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

iTunes UK posted the "Read My Mind" EP. Track 1 sounds like and matches the running time of the album version while track 2 is the full-length Pet Shop Boys remix.

Will the PSB 7" edit appear only on the 45?

I think PSB did a good job on Read My Mind.

When I heard the Killers album for the first time, last summer, "Read My Mind" was immediately the standout track for me. It grew to become one of my overall favourite songs of 2006, so I was absolutely thrilled when I heard the news about PSB remixing it.

The PSB remix didn't disappoint. I think PSB are getting better and better as a remix outfit. Their skills are improving and I'm looking forward to hear more of such remixes.

you sure about that, it is actually an edit of PSB mix, the CD says it has a running time of 4.02 therefore it isn't the full length mix despite being listed a Stars Are Blazing Mix
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

The full mix has a playing time of 7.19 mins. I heard an edit, which I didn't really like. I prefer the long mix.

Well, I was just going off what HMV has listed and what the OS says about it being released today.

I have the full length one but not the edit. I've heard it though on Euphoric.

See above.

Also, the 2-track digital download on (UK) iTunes has the full length version and 2-track downloads are normally the same as the 2-track CDs.

The UK CD single contains two tracks

1) Album Version
2) Pet Shop Boys Stars Are Blazing Mix

BUT, the PSB mix is edited, and runs for 4:02.

They would not be allowed to include the full mix anyway, as it would take the 2-track CD over the allowed running time of 10 minutes, and it would therefore be ineligible for the charts.

It's listed as 4:02 on the CD sleeve but the actual version on the CD is the full version: I'm listening to it at the moment and it's 7:21 in Media Player.

And it's very good as well.

That would mean that the cd-single isn't eligible for the charts...

Like I say, it says it's 4:02 on the sleeve.
