It was even funnier seeing it live !! - Neil just didn't have a clue and I think Pete was getting ready for a coronary !!jmh wrote:have you not heard the bootleg of the heaven show in '91 when the computer crashed at the start of 'it's alright', and neil has to ad-lib over the top of the drums while pete and chris try and sort it out?

i remember neil, once he'd rcovered from the shock, rather taking the thing in his stride, whilst chris was laughing as pete tried to sort it out; in a perverse way, i felt quite privileged to have witnessed it, as it had never happened before and if memory serves, has never happened since. made sitting through 'edward II' almost worth it!

Something very similar happened while performing New York City Boy, I can´t remember when or where, but I do remember something going really wrong in the middle of this song on a bootleg live recording I have somewhere...jmh wrote:i remember neil, once he'd rcovered from the shock, rather taking the thing in his stride, whilst chris was laughing as pete tried to sort it out; in a perverse way, i felt quite privileged to have witnessed it, as it had never happened before and if memory serves, has never happened since. made sitting through 'edward II' almost worth it!
