I'm probably setting myself up for a complete flame session here, but is there anyone else here that likes Erasure as well as PSB???
Yeah I like Erasure, although I prefer their earlier music. They were the first band I saw live, plus I own a load of 12" singles.

Incidentally - got my tickets for the Brighton Centre. It'd be great if they open this tour with 'We're The Pet Shop Boys'... About time we heard that one live!

Andy

I beg to differ :? Better it be forgotten before anyone else decides to cover it.

Yeah, that's why I said "anyone else". Two covers is more than enough. In fact one cover was too much already. It is a decent enough song, but does not deserve this much attention.

It looks like the "I'm Gay" Little Britain song is being released as a physical single in the UK on 26 March. Could this be the news? (Not that it has ever really been established that this is definitely a psb remix.)

*Edit* Oh hang on, is this an import?

It must be something like Chris coming out to be VERY exciting news.
Interviewer:
-What would you tell someone about yourself if you wanted to impress them?

Chris:
-I´ve got a 12-inch plonker.

It's high time they strutted their stuff on the Pyramid stage once again...

There is a story in today's Sunday Times newspaer about how Mathew Bourne is going to put on a ballet which is a gay take on Romeo & Juliet (it's going to be called Romeo & Romeo, apparently)

No mention of PSB yet but it sounds like the kind of thing N&C might be involved in. Apparently, there will be rehearsals this June and if succsessful it will go on stage next year. Given that PSB have been writing since January could they have been working on this?

Doesn't sound too great, if you ask me...

The Nurse will be a faded diva and Friar Lawrence an ageing Muscle Mary.
