David Platt was a better international player than he was a club player. He did score some vital goals. He is also one of the worst managers ever.

Indeed, the stats show he scored and impressive 27 goals from 62 games.

Any goal from an England player would be welcome now!!

At present, I would rate him above Steve McClaren!!![/quote]

I can still remember that volley against Belgium!

Also, Platt did what few England players could do: score during the Graham Taylor era.

Nearly did! The Rovers special train arrived at Cardiff at 12:50. I got in just as the national anthem was being sung!

Great day out and a great result (in the end!) and now I'm absolutely shattered.

Time for bed.

I saw on teletext that Dony went 2-0 up, then 3-2 IET, did rovers win then?

Did the welsh play God save the queen or Jerusalem?

Nor did Gary Lineker and was one of the best strikers ever.

Janet Street-Porter said that, not me.

Just making sure it's cleared up, cos we know what happens when people misattribute stuff around here ;)

Rangers dropped more points against Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Saturday.
They've taken 7 out of 9 points against us this season. I still think we will finish second, though.
