i just took delivery of my UNOPENED 10" of West End Girls today... 21 years after release and 21 years of looking and not paying ridiculous asking prices (£75???)..Its mine...ALL MINE!!! Ha Ha Harrrr etc..... All i need now is the holy grail....the West End Girls Picture Disc, never seen one, never seen one for sale but it is mentioned in Pet Shop Boys Annually. you wont find one mate, it was penned in for release (rp6115) then when west end girls got to number one there was no need for more variants, it definetly doesnt exist.

Some people on the forum do think the picture disc exists. If I recall one discussion correctly, somebody claimed to have seen a copy.

I seem to remember the fabled picture disc being mentioned in Literally around the time of the Nightlife tour.

Weren't they doing a signing session in America and someone brought the disc to be signed and they refused to do so as it was so rare?

Correct.
I even remember a quote from Chris saying how 'he'd never seen one himself before..'

I don't think it was mentioned that it was specifically the picture disc.

I agree, I don't think it was either. And the fact that Chris don't remember seeing one does not prove much...he didn't recognize the Very umbrella either when I brought it to the Tower signing session in 2001.
It was a cough that carried him off. It was a coffin they carried him off in.
