Etienne Daho cover

Seems that a guy heard from another (Jérôme Soligny, the one who has translated 'Paris city boy') that PSB will take part in a Daho tribute album. They would do 'La baie', a really really great song - like astrud gilberto doing the perfect pop song.
Etienne Daho is a french singer, very pop, 'à la limite de la variété'.

I love Etienne Daho, and I'm not surprised the PSB would cover him. Actually, la baie is not my favourite track, but check out the cover of one of his song "Week end à Rome" called "He's on the Phone", remix by Motiv8 ! :

I'm not surprised either, especially as the song in question was featured on CD2 of Back To Mine.

Excellent , I love Etienne Daho too...he has been around as long as the PET SHOP BOYS on the pop scene in France. He is a very well respected artist ( like PSB!) . He is a big fan of PSB too, and La Baie is a gorgeous track with very deep meaningfull lyrics. Curious to hear the PSB version and the english lyrics.

Etienne Daho assisted to psb's concert in Paris in 2002 along with Dani and Amanda Lear among other French "celebs"

That's the St Etienne track. They've worked with him too. I have one of his CD's somewhere that I bought specifically because he had collaborated with St Etienne.
