PRE - ORDER CUBISM DVD NOW !

#1 Post by chrisbor »

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know , you can pre-order CUBISM DVD now from www.play.com. You can also see the artwork...and here's the comment about the DVD. It seems the packaging concept will be similar to the limited edition of FUNDAMENTAL - FUNDAMENTALISM.

''Cubism - Live In Concert was filmed on November 14th 2006 in Mexico City at the Auditorio Nacionale in High Definition. It was directed by David Barnard whose previous credits include the live concert films of Bjork and Gorillaz.
The sound for the film has been mixed by long-standing Pet Shop Boys engineer Bob Kraushaar, in both stereo and 5:1 surround sound.

Each DVD comes in a black amaray case with a slipcase sleeve featuring either Neil Tennant or Chris Lowe on the front.''

Strange. My copy of the former came with a picture of both Neil and Chris. Have I got a rarity?

Thanks for the info. I will pre-order it tomorrow. Sorry what does it means : Each DVD comes in a black amaray case with a slipcase sleeve featuring either Neil Tennant or Chris Lowe on the front"? Will the DVD be like FUndamental Special Edition with a cardboard case on the DVD case with the faces of PSB?

It's very common for DVD packaging to have both of these though. :?

I kinda read that as being two versions. One with a slipcase of Neil one with a slipcase of Chris, but the same DVD case inside.

Nice to see it's got DTS though :)

Play.com does not speak about a second DVD in thr Technical Details, so I think that it will be with 1 DVD like the others concerts in the past (in every old DVD there is a documentary or some extras)

HMV's shipping is free in the UK but extra if you're outside, so you're both right. :)
