Maybe it will be the rockier songs which didn't fit onto Fundamental.

Anyway when the sodding hell are we gonna get Nightlife Further Listenin. Stop pratting about with additional albums and release the ones already confirmed.

I'm thinking the songs that didnt make it on fundamental were the really electronic/electro ones as apparently thats the CD they were going to do before they changed the concept.

LOL, exactly  I would prefer as many NEW albums as possible. I would rather hear new mixes and tracks then a remastered version of Silver Age and Casting A Shadow.

Please was released in 1986, its Further Listening edition in 2001, so 15 years later. Since Nightlife was released in 1999, it's possible that you will have to wait until 2014 - or perhaps really longer.

They could issue FL albums of Nightlife and Release together as these are considered 'weak' albums.

Has anyone got any sort of worthwhile news on the Nightlife and Release further listenings? There has been plenty of ''i'm in the know'' crap posted in the past, only for the so called release date to come and go. The further listening are some of the best stuff i've had the pleasure of listening to. I reckon the Nightlife re-issue will be the dogs bollox.

but surely the key issue is that Disco 4 may contain a couple of new tracks, Nightlife is unlikely to

I agree with Vampire. I want the remasters with FL discs. Disco 3 was nice but I never play it anymore. Some of us don't buy all the singles and promos so the b-sides from nightlife will be new to us.

Much as I love their back catalogue, I don't understand how you can look forward to a re-release more than a new album.

I don't have Nightlife or Release yet. I'm waiting for the FL's so the sooner they release them the better IMO.

Having said that, I'd much rather have brand new "now sounding" material.
