I think it has to be said that Neil is wearing the least embarrassing clothes. The tea, pinky, hair and specs are another matter entirely, of course.

She worked with Neil at Smash Hits and unfortunately committed suicide a few years ago. Neil mentions her in The Survivors as she was in band called The Saturday Girls and her sad and untimely death was the inspiration for the song.

First time I met Neil was at Kimberley's wedding and the second at her funeral - Neil and I had a good old chat about her at The Astoria after-show party. He even gave me a little hug when I mentioned her which my mate who was with me thought was hysterical!

Not seen that photo before so thanks for posting.

I remember an interview where that was mentioned. Sorry to hear that. The Survivors is a very moving and beautiful song.

Hey not to worry - you weren't to know. And she'd chuckle at the photo were she with us now I'm sure!

Had some great chats about Neil with her - they had such a great time at SH and were very close.
