I had never thought about it like that, but yes, that would be very annoying. Then again, there are plenty of sincerely felt positive things said about PSB and their work on this forum. Most people will like sincere flattery, even PSB. I would!

I don't think there's a lot of trash here. It seems more like fans are against each other, and no one is really against PSB doing something.

It's different on some music forums I've seen which are not PSB forums but just general forums. Then if there's one thread about PSB, it can really feel like people are hating their music! Terrible stuff.

Here I guess everybody loves them, more or less.

I think this is a very kind and friendly forum. Best of all: The fans don't bash their stars. If I compare it with the madness on MADONNA forums it's heaven on earth here! :D

I think what it hugely comes down to, is that when one is a celebrity or a star, you're ultimately going to degrade that status by being "available" to the fans.

Like the Q&A on the official site that was ruined by nutcases. It was so good of them to try. Alas..

Better to be stars and unavailable, be Garbo.

What's too bad is that this forum has so many intelligent and smart people (myself excepted, I'm a demonstrable idiot) who have been fans forever and have sincere things to say- and it's such a remote possibility that PSB would care to join us here.. it would be great, but I suppose they've been burned before.

C'est la vie.

I think that an official board, modelled on the Erasure one, is a good idea. Criticism of the band would be encouraged in the spirit of constructive discourse and if, for instance, PSB produced an acoustic album comprised of some of their old album tracks, the board would voice its contemptuous opproprium. I'm certain that the board wouldn't ever degenerate into a masturbatory love-in for fanboys in leotards.

I also recall someone asked Neil not long ago if they visit the forums and Neil said he visited here and Zeus' forum. The poster was credible as well.

I can't think of one person more insane and big-headed than Lydia. She collapse her own forum with her multiple nicknames/alias, lying about her fluent exchange with Neil and Chris.......I can't believe there's still people taking her seriously.
Neil Tennant has a great voice, Chris Lowe has great silence.

Back on topic here, Gardner if you can get Neil and or Chris to visit here one day, then that will be great.

Rest assured, they already have, and undoubtedly continue to do so.

Personally, I wouldn't want them to post as themselves for many reasons, most of which have already been aired here.

It is without question that they browse through the general section here and on Lydia's forum. Not sure where else.

Doesn't matter if its Neil or Chris that browse through here, but just the fact that at least one of them do is good for me.
