Sylvia sings like a godess
She's so good... her live performance give me chills. Hope the boys integrate her soon in new projects...

"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."

She's one of the worst things that can happen to a track .....
Her ad-libbing and whiny "Yeah, yeahs" totally destroy perfectly good arrangements. Listen to Kingscross from the recent BBC concert if you need proof.
Actually, it's a good idea if they write her a solo album .... it might keep her away from their stuff for a while.

She clearly hams it up, and shouts rather than sings. I'm glad that they fade her down a bit on the studio versions. I wouldn't say her voice is beautiful, it's strong certainley but hardly angelic. The Boys should get Derek and Steven, Erasure backing singers of old.
btw, Undertaker, have you misappropriated my old avatar? I'm a big fan of the Count.

Yeah.. i know what u mean...Fugitive1979 wrote:I love her voice, but she can go over the top sometimes. She warbles a bit too much during the current live version of West End Girls.
For me, she's quite a good singer ( i love strong voices) and i would'nt want any new stuff to sound like Go west ... but i love the way the boys integrated her in I don't know what you want but I can't give it any more...
