Amazingly, only 2 members have placed Being Boring in their Top 5. I thought this track was a fans fave?!!

Anyhow, here's mine...

1. Decadence
2. Violence
3. To Face The Truth
4. Being Boring
5. You Know Where You Went Wrong
Minge

That's what I was thinking too. Even obscure album tracks have been mentioned more often.

I think Being Boring is a favourite of people who admire truly great songwriting; lyrics, chord changes and the atmosphere this builds around the song, and overall instrumentation. It's a songwriter's song rather than a typical PSB pop stomper. It has to be the full length album version too rather than the single edit. My other half isn't a big fan of PSB but agrees Being Boring is a work of art.

I almost included Being Boring, but we were only given a top 5 to pick and I'd already chosen So Hard. I could easily have included other songs from Behaviour.

I listen to PSB almost exclusively. And I am pretty tired of the hits.

One month I listen to "PSB-Fresh-3up" which is less well known album songs and B-sides.
Closer to Heaven (Slow version)
Hey Headmaster
Later Tonight
London (Genuine Piano Mix)
No Time For Tears (2006)
The next month I listen to "PSB-remix-3up" which is favourite remixes.
Flamboyant - Michael Mayer Kompakt Mix
A Red Letter Day (Trouser Autoerotic Decapitation Mix)
We all feel better in the dark (after hours climax)
I Don't Know What You Want But I Can't Give It Any More (The Morales Re Mix)
Love Comes Quickly (Blank And Jones Mix)
I would put Being Boring (Extended version) at #6 on my remix list.
It is the gateway track to "getting" PSB remixes.

I save the hits for enjoying DVDs : Pop Art, Nightlife, Cubism.
"Remember Bender, if you do it right, no one is sure you have done anything at all". -God. In Godfellas.

Lyrically Being Boring is a masterpiece but musically I find it too generic to make my top 5. The tune of the song simply isn't interesting or unusual enough, although the arrangement and general atmosphere of the song is neat.
It was a cough that carried him off. It was a coffin they carried him off in.

In no particular order:

Why don't we live together?
Seriously (classical reprise)
I get excited (you get excited too)
Flamboyant
In the night (disco mix)

These are the songs that still stand out after listening to them too many times.
"Your boring face I love it"

It's a sin
Left to my own devices
Being boring

Can you forgive her?

1. Jealousy
2. I Want a Lover
3. Paninaro
4. Where The Streets/Can't Take...
5. Somewhere

This is my top five as of 8.22pm. Ask me again in 10 minutes and it will probably have changed somewhat. The songs will probably be the same, but the order will be different.
