The thing is if the Rhydian version was similar to the original or similar to the PSB cover. Anyway, the original version was writting to be performed by Village People.

I remember an interview with Neil and he mentioned how a newspaper gave away a CD of Simon Cowell's Greatest Hits. Neil said something like he wanted one as evidence of Cowell's crimes against music

Mind you, Neil likes Alcazar and Kylie, so he likes manaufactured pop trash when he wants to be the stereotypical bummer with the tastes of a 10 year old school girl.

there's a difference though between original pop songs.normally written/produced by your Xenomania types, than shite, unimaginative, boring covers of famous songs. Do we really need another version of Unchained Melody?

but at least their cover versions tend to offer something new - I don't really give that much of a shit about the 'new' Kylie track but even if it isn't a new track again at least it is not that well known
