Why is global warming so bloody cold?

CO2 in a planet's atmosphere traps a proportion of solar radiation.
On Earth 30% of solar radiation iis reflected and 70% trapped by CO2.

Because of man made CO2, the amount of radiation being trapped is increasing
and so is the temperature of the Earth.

If we completely stop producing CO2 and Methane, it still takes a long time for
the greenhouse gases to disperse so the temperature would continue to rise in this time.
So we have locked in fairly serious damage to the Earth's environment all ready.

At the moment, production of man made CO2 is not being stopped or even slowed.
It is increasing.

As for this being natural, no one who looks at this graph would think it is natural.
Please, study the graph. The X-axis shows time over hundreds of thousands of years.
It shows several ice ages and gives an idea of what is natural and the long
period of time for change to happen naturally : 10s of thousands of years.
The Y-axis shows CO2 levels at those time. Over on the right is what mankind is doing.
Notice the scale in parts per million and consider the time frame.

By the way, the graph, like much GW data is too conservative. PPM count is now over 400.

Alig is right- we all exhale CO2, so any talk of regulations on earth-raping industry and the trillions of times-more-than-him-farting-methane autos, whose oil ties us to despotic regimes and crippling fuel costs, is just filthy socialist lies.

Meanwhile the NYTimes has a front cover story on the freaking astronomical amounts of mercury found in the tuna sushi (maguro) in twenty of the poshest sushi places in NYC. It's a scandal.

POLLUTION, people. Deniers like to twist the argument into CO2 and minutiae, but it's undeniable that we spew toxic waste everywhere, species die, and we're the worse for it.
