Goldfrapp Seventh Tree and A&E singles question

#1 Post by ! »

Ok, so somebody on the Goldfrapp message board has an idea that I really like but it's not been said whether or not you are actually meant to do this or if you can.
The idea was that maybe you can store the singles in the deluxe edition box of Seventh Tree and have a nice set of Goldfrapp goodness
I've got the deluxe edition of Seventh Tree but I'm not going to bother with the singles if you can't do this.

For those of you who don't know, the A&E singles come in cardboard cases, like promo CDs, and the special edition comes in a presentation box with some extras.

So, I was wondering if any of the Goldfrapp fans on here are members of the GMB and could maybe ask the admin or bump the thread (http://www.goldfrapp.com/msgboard/showt ... hp?t=13326)? Or maybe if anybody knows the answer to this here?
I did actually join the GMB the other day to ask this but my account still hasn't been activated.

I would like to buy "Happiness" single. I quite like this song.
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."
(Neil Tennant, speaking about "Elysium" on the eve of "Electric" release.)

At the moment, I'm only liking "You never know". The rest may grow on me, though.

I bought "Seventh Tree" off iTunes. They add an extra, "You Never Know (Live In London), which is excellent..

I think that's enough of Goldfrapp's country idyll for me.

"Aw, good old Kate" snapped Alison at a journalist recently, in a foul mood. It's pretty undeniable that she sounds an awful lot like Kate Bush on this new one, guess she doesn't care to admit it.

I do like 'Seventh Tree". I do miss a disco stomper, but oh well. I like them enough it doesn't matter.

Would happily buy Happiness singles (if there is a b-side) and Road To Somewhere (if released)

I'm a member over there....

his was the latest reply. It seems that the singles fit, but only if you don't mind sacrificing some other items in the box....

Last post in that thread:
right, see i store my A&E singels in the deluxe edition now - there is room - so i was kind of right them, the singles fit in the deluxe set and the cards that the album and dvd are in are esactly the same size..i thought they might fit in, though there isnt room for many more (i have taken the poster out so that freed up some room)

I'm really enjoying Seventh Tree. Love the packaging on the special edition. Right now my favorite song is 'Monster Love'.

Hmm, I'm still getting used to it. I LOVE the Black Cherry album most of all, followed bt Supernature, so this is a bit of a change. I think I am more of a fan of their sleazy disco stuff really. I'm sure I'll get to love it though.

I'm going to see them in June- can't wait! :D
