With the console market being boring right now, i'm looking for any good P.C games, old and new. Any recommendations? Not bothered what genre they are.

I've been starting to play call of duty 4 online. its a war game. I still fire up GTA san andreas because the sunny and beautiful enviroments relax me in between running over prostitutes/gang members with my car and blowing up police helicopters.

It's still one of the best stress-reliefs I've ever found.

Off the top of my head, some great PC games to look out for are ...

Call of Duty 1 and the expansion United Offensive (multiplayer on UO wipes the floor with CoD 4)
Medieval Total War (awesome strategy game)
Psychnauts (very funny adventure game)
Crysis (Needs a very up to date PC though)
Company of Heroes (Great WW2 strategy game)
Lego Star Wars (Yeah, it's a kids game, but I defy you not to have enormous fun with it !

)

Baldur's gate 1+2
Oblivion
Warcraft
World of Warcraft
..and I even enjoy Two Worlds

Most RPG's and you'll have to love good story-telling...but they are worth it

Good PC games? It honestly depends what you are looking for. The PC game market has been more vibrant than the console game market since time immemorial, and I (seriously) could list 100 games worth checking out off the top of my head alone.

What kind of games do you normally enjoy playing?

I can play most really. A bit fed up of war games, especially when you are on foot, randomnly shooting people. Anything like the 1st Resident Evil, Sport or Strategy games. I've never had a real favourite type i guess. Although games like Sims just bore me.
