Thank God that lucky Turkey didn't make it again, though they actually played better than Germany. Turkey's not really Europe anyway...

Tonight I will support Russia! They have been the most entertaining team in this tournament.

I think it's not good, it's a game.
Croatia lost, Italy lost, Turkey lost, Portugal lost, France lost...
I respect Germany, but I would like to see in final Croatia or...France... or Czeck.
Don't know why.

And why does Turkey coach Terim want to quit? Surely he should stick around for the world cup qualifiers. I just watched the highlights again from last night and it is shocking that the Germans won. They could not put a decent move together the whole match unlike Turkey who dominated. I think it really shows that in modern football the way to defend is to put the opposition under pressure all the time, Cut off the easy ball and get forward as much as possible. Germany were caught cold in that respect and never got going. Could well be Spain's year.

Russia is very big.

In Vladivostok, Habarovsk - it's East, Kazan and Ufa - Asia, Saint-Petersburg and Kaliningrad - Europe and etc...
We could play in any cup:), like Asia cup, for example, or East Cup.
Of course the most of us think about Russia as Europe, but we have a lot of space.

Turkey... well I have to agree it's more East than Europe. I don't say that they don't have to play in Euro 2008, but their territory and religion is not European, in the same time Konstantinopol - European... It's difficult to say.

Totally agree. I've nothing against Germany as I've always admired their mentality and ability to grind out results but I was absolutely gutted for Turkey last night.

Galata, you should be very proud of your countrymen. I wish England could play with the passion, guts and technical ability your players and manager showed throughout this tournament.
Passion, love, sex, money, violence, religion, injustice and death. More on that story later.

Well said, mate.

By the way, does Russia - or Turkey, for that matter - play in Asian tournaments as well? And if not, how come you choose to belong to Europe?

I know about European Broadcasting Union as the reason for Turkey, Armenia, Israel and other Asian countries for participating in the Eurovision Song Contest. I guess it's the same with UEFA and football?

Turkey is the most popular place for holliday for us - Russians. :D
I prefer Europe than South, because I don't like water and hot sun.

I said Turkey is more East than North, do you agree?
For example my city is about 500 km from Helsinki...
It's North...

After first half - 0-0...
We have to fight!

I would say that because of Ataturk, Turkey is more European in many ways than Asian.

3-0. Bye bye Block heads. Inexperience cost them. Not enough iodine. Still, they are good at Ice Hockey. Just a pity no one really cares about the sport.

I still remember what you told me in your message:
LMAO at you. You have shown yourself up big time. No wonder Russia is an embarressment if everyone is like you. All the Russians i know have square heads and smell anyway. Your country is shit at virtually every sport. Your country is living in the dark ages while the super powers of England and United States dominate. Everyone is laughing at Russia
I don't know what has happened in your life and I am not psychologist but you probably have very big problems with your brains.

Spain was stronger. It was obvious. It was stronger when they won 4-1 and now.
Euro is just Euro, it's not World Championship.
Let's see what we will do in Olimpic games and what Spain do. :D
I am sure Spain will be lucky if they win the only one gold medal...

Totally deserved victory, great 2nd half performance by Spain and they must be favourites now. Could be an interesting game though.
Well, the Russians don't care for football anyway, do they?

Typical baby response from Parkol, grow up ffs.

Believe me that we really do not give a shit how many medals Russia wins at the olympics, Take them all, you should anyway with your population. Isn't that how your small brain thinks?

They'd beat you at bull-fighting and chucking bottles at 80s pop stars too, Parkol.
