Hilarious. Yes, we're all idiots. And yes that wasn't edited at all. And yes, discount the distinct immigrant accents of some of the respondents. We're all stupid and wicked, dumb hicks.

Meanwhile I look at your sig pic and wonder when you people will stop stabbing each other in "knife-crimes". And why your women are so drunken, and dress like chav sluts. Off to watch "Shameless" now, I understand it's a documentary on average Britons.

I have lived inthe USA for 16 years, and while I agree this is a humourous generalization, there IS a large portion of the population sandwiched between the East and West coasts that are this stupid.

Shameless is a documentary about NORTHERN Britons - the South is far more educated and refined. Be careful of making generalizations unless you know British social geography.

That is actually from an Aussie show, very talented guys called "The Chaser".

Go to You Tube and search on "The Chaser".

Their immortal gag was when Sydney was locked down and security mad for the APAC conference.
They actually got arrested for this one.

In the end they had to stop because they became too much of a legend.
When they went out to start a scene everyone else would get out their
cameras and start filming them.

Kip(p)ling is an exceedingly good cake manufacturer - don't get him confused with the little known author...

to be fair to my fellow americans, alot of those arent examples of americans being stupid as in not having normal brain activity. as harsh as it sounds its examples of americans not giving a crap about whats outside their country or their own lives/habitat.

like most americans growing up,I had geography and history, they just werent terribly important subjects to me. I just didnt care. maybe you guys just ate that stuff up in class. I know I didnt. highschool and college for me was pretty much a social party.

but in defense of americans, we dont have a sort of built in need to be snarky about the other guy. not because we cant find "stupid" people elsewhere but because dont have that particular inferiority complex about our position in relation to anothers. which lets be serious is why thse videos are usually made.

I think these videos get made because these people get to say (effectively)
who is the most powerful person in the world, whose decisions effect us all.
Yet well informed people outside the U.S. have no say at all. Result : frustration.

To be fair, I think all large countries become introspective as they are large
enough to be little worlds to themselves.

And all super-powers turn into bullies.
