I just had this warning on page 16 of the Love etc. thread. Luckily my Anti-virus software blocked it, but I would strongly advise EVERYONE to scan their PCs.

Also, can anyone who uses lycos check their avatar or sig, as I think that's where it's coming from.

I haven't logged into this site in years... and I haven't touched me sig for 7 years so how can it have a virus on it

It won't be anything you've done Strife, viruses can trawl the net looking for things to attach to, and it just happened to latched onto something at your webspace.

I would advise that you check your PC just in case you've used that space recently and not realised something was there.

ahhh i think i worked it out

I used to have a web site on lycos absolutely years ago but I ended up moving it as i got sick of all the ads. As far as I remember they used to offer free space but then they decided to stop that and they deleted my site. So I think there was probably a Final Fantasy character on top of me sig which has been a big red X for ages.
