what I don't understand is that X number of sold out nights at Manchester Apollo and 5 Number 1 albums is meant to be evidence of how brilliant Erasure are, well based on that logic Union Street is incredibly shite and Total Pop at best straining to be mediocre.
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

Sorry, you're confused. I've never used sales as a barometer of brilliance (unless sales stats are thrown in my face - five #1 albums are nothing to frown at), but the two weeks of sold out nights at the Apollo were part of a conversation regarding live performances.

I can understand how this can get confusing though - within this anti-Erasure typhoon on this forum over the years, it's hard to make heads or tails of anything.

Indeed; he recently thought it would be good fun to use my name and address as his signature on this forum. He's also been on other forums I use and taken things I've said there (things completely unrelated to PSB or Erasure) and put those in his signature too.

Bizarre behaviour really, bordering on the criminal, and like you say, definite bunny boiler/stalkerish tendencies. I'm surprised/disappointed that said member hasn't been banned yet. One hopes he'll seek the advice of a psychiatrist either way because there's a screw loose there.

You're an idiot, not worthy of the attention you recieve, but i'll indulge you. Forget erasure for a minute. This is a Pet Shop Boys forum. It is for fans of the Pet Shop Boys to air their views. What those views are is irrelevant. What those views have in common though is that they come from Pet Shop Boys fans. When we comment on erasure it is varied and can be positive and negative. What we do not expect is to read the disgusting nonsense coming from you and your two friends about the Pet Shop Boys on a forum dedicated to them. And to cry out to Pet Shop Boys fans who may be appalled with this constant 'bickering' in an attempt to gain sympathy is ludicrous when you realise that most have read your vile comments.

You should be censured for some of the things you've said and continue to say. Pet Shop Boys fan my a*se!

p u l s e, you're really an expert at quote mining, but being an expert at misrepresenting the things people have said isn't something to be proud of.

Do you understand how:

(a) expressing an opinion and
(b) the manner in which that opinion is expressed

are different things?

Because your post suggests you don't.

I am a member to Erasure forum but rather read the news and posts about Erasure releases that may sound interesting to me (happily skipping Mr Mig's and Stephano's wild comments (they really don't merit to read see Patrick Batemen's signature legend :D ) and some comments about PSB (the fanaticism there is more dogmatic than here, believe me) but I very rarely try to ingratiate myself to the members of a forum of the band whom I don't give much damn and I don't try to falsely appear as a big fan of Erasure...

So why Stephano (or some other one or two names) are acting here as if he/ they really love Pet Shop Boys while we know the truth is beyond me :D

Since Andy is obviously a bit strapped for cash, he could always sell the Erasure domain name. Apparently, the URL could be worth just over 2 grand - enough to keep him in shiny stilettoes and custard slices for many months:

http://www.mywebsiteworth.com/site/erasureinfo.com

Of course, petshopboys.co.uk is worth quite a bit more - about 150% more to be precise:

http://www.mywebsiteworth.com/site/petshopboys.co.uk

The funniest thing is that this forum URL is worth almost as much as the URL for Erasure's official website:

http://www.mywebsiteworth.com/site/pets ... -forum.com

Where is the migmeister? I haven't seen him on Popjustice recently. Tell him he's always welcome to post here because he's a bit of a legend in these parts.

Quote mining? Get real. I exposed the hypocrisy of Skyhigh's statements and didn't change one thing. My entire posts have been actually altered at least a dozen times on this forum when quoting me.

Do you understand how:

(a) hypocrisy
(b) totalitarianism

are things to frown upon?

Because your post suggests you don't.

I've been a fan since "West End Girls" was released. Simply because a person doesn't find PSB to be superior to other groups doesn't mean they can't be fans of them.

I am a fan. What I am not a fan of is one or two members on here. I'm also not a fan of how someone feels free to cut down Erasure but has a fit if anyone stands up against it.
