It won't - it'll be worse, but people will be blinded by current issues and not realise the problems they're going to cause for themselves and everyone else who isn't well to do in the process of letting the Tories back in. Those on the minimum wage will really suffer when the Tories show their true colours and scrap it, the NHS is bound to suffer and perceived anti-toff laws like the fox hunting ban will be overturned, no doubt amongst countless other changes and cuts that will hit the common man hard. Welcome back to Britain under a Tory government. I feel sick just thinking about it.

It's the lesser of three evils which ever way you look at it .... Labour will continue to destroy this country if given another chance with their ineptitude ....
We all know there is a massive silent majority in this country who are fed up with the British way of life being eroded, which has given the likes of the BNP and other nationalistic groups a voice ....
Or you take the only other party who at least have "some" know how about how to tackle the shit we're in now ....
Personally, I think a people's revolution would work wonders and we could get rid of all the trash in one go ......
UKIP, the BNP and other extreme parties are likely to do rather well in the European elections next month. Such a fractured EU parliament will find it difficult to do anything of real worth.

I actually hope they do. Politics in this country have been a sham for far too long, and if it takes the election of a few racist nutjobs to shake up the system, that'll be a good thing. The sooner we get proportional representation the better. I live in a Tory safe seat so however I vote makes no difference at all anyway.
I'm looking forward to a Tory victory - not because the Tories are anything other than grotesque - but because as soon as they take control they'll mercilessly crush many of the people who swept them into power. It's always gratifying to see crass stupidity rewarded as it should be. People on the minimum wage voting Tory deserve, nay, need the savage kicking that they'll invariably get.
That said, Britain has no appetite for a genuinely left-wing government. We saw that in 1992, and consequently there hasn't been a choice since.
Drico.

My point exactly, but it's all right for you Drico, you haven't got to live in it. I really hope by the time an election is called things have calmed down and the economy has picked up a bit to avoid a knee jerk action by the stupid and/or shortsighted.
I'd rather have a Tory government than an ersatz Tory government like the one we've had for the last twelve years. Somebody like Cameron who's already a multi-millionaire doesn't need to spend his time wishing he was rich like most of the New Labour mob. Blair's fingermarks are all over this scandal: the horrible covetousness and grasping nature of the middle-manager. UK PLC is a meritocracy, after all, and they're all worth it.

You should see the bunch of idiots running our country. And our choice is either them, other equally inept idiots or terrorists not very convincingly disguised as politicians. Grim.
Here in Cork, there's even a former member of a failed girl band running for election. Her startling whitened teeth grinning out from every poser. Sorry, I mean poster.
Our guys have been screwing the system for years too. Except it doesn't get exposed in this country. And even those who have been exposed in the past have still been relected by total idiots with some misguided loyalties cause they helped Johnny O'Sullivan or Paddy MacCarthy get the medical card back in 1985 or some such nonsense.
