You didn't answer the question about why people would go out of their way to demonstrate against "Gay Pride" when you say how silly it is for people to participate in it.
It is very scarey that a country can allow this kind of thing.
And your own pesonal sexuality should have nothing to do with this discussion, I am straight and married just as many PSB fans on this board are but that makes no difference at all on such an injustice as this. You know that they have gay Pride events all over the world and these are enjoyed by people of all sexualities not just homosexuals. I think you totally miss the point if you look upon it as some kind of provocation as such. Shame.

....I have got my own experience with beein punched into my face and only that I said one boy that I was gay -he pushed me into boxes of empty pasta -I had lots of bruises -but then my manager was on my side
This had happened many years ago - and in London!
And few months ago something similar had happen to me again - here in country where gay people can get registred..
Even my mother did the same - years ago,after she "discovered" letters from my gay lover - she came to see me in London to smack my face on my 21st birthday.. and she said she wisched I was never born..

Our mair of city - Matvienko terminates old buildings in the ceneter and many people do not like it... I mean she desroys historical center and builds new aweful buildings... So people didn't ask her, can they parade against it or not. They just protest on the street and they don't care about her. I mean if they want something really sirious - they would parade, but their parade is more a show, a perfomance... flash mob than something sirious...
