I think it's better if Erasure or DM get that.

Yes, I was surprised DM didn't get it.

I was quite surprised to read this. Robbie is only 35 so he seems a bit young for this kind of thing.

I agree that DM should get it.

A new album to shift, 'surprise' performances with Kylie and Take That, an emotional Fat Dancer thanks his fans for their love, etc.

Oh, and to think that this award actually used to mean something.

Totally agree, above all for DM (even if I'm an Erasure supporter) 'cos they're still selling a lot...

Bit of a strange one but he has been 'involved' in music for 16 years and sold a shit load of records and his new album will shift a shed load. Don't really like the bloke, nor can he sing but it's not as bad as when the Spice Girls won it. I bet Gary Barlow is pissed off.

Reading Daily Mirror today, 3AM section, there was a small part about Robbie Williams getting the award, it says 'Robbie will be following in the footsteps of last year's Winner, Paul McCartney'

Weird. I would hate that they wait til Martin Gore is dead to give DM an award.

Robbie W. is so pompous and full of himself. I only like 3 songs.
