No, there's just zero factual basis to the rumour. It was started by West Ham fans.

Really, really looking forward to the match tonight. It's fantastic to have a potential classic and also not to have to worry about a godawful wanker like 'JT' lifting the trophy either.

And Liverpool, please try against Chelsea on Sunday. Yes, it's sad that United might get nineteen titles but it would be far sadder to roll over and let Chelsea win. Personally I blame the Spice Boys for Liverpool's predicament - the biggest bunch of wasters in Liverpool's history.

I can assure you Liverpool will be going all-out to beat Chelsea.

It is the same situation as when we played Blackburn, with Blackburn needing a draw to seal the title. Jamie Redknapp's last minute free kick meant we won 2-1.

Fortunately, United failed to win at West Ham, so the title went to Blackburn anyway

A best case situation is Liverpool battering Chelsea, then United failing to beat Sunderland. I have everything crossed for that.

So, i wonder who's pockets were lined with this latest decision by the F.A?

Man City have 7 keepers on their books but are someohow allowed to loan in somebody else! I really hope it all goes tits up.

Yeah we have them next Wednesady at their place. You could easily write the script now.

Champs League ;-

What a cheating c***. Listen to Tyldsley justifying a red card. The muppet on the floor even peeped through his hands to see what justice was being dished out. Thats an appalling decision.

I thought it was very funny when he went after him as he went off. I think if you're sent off because somebody dived, you should at least be allowed to punch them as you leave the pitch.

The match is complete crap though; I'd forgotten what tends to happen when Italian and Spanish teams meet in one-off cup ties.

The snooker's excellent though - two extremely tight matches.....

The red card was a great shame because it completely killed the game as a spectacle and turned it into an attack-versus-defence training ground contest. Having said that, it was still compelling viewing in a weird way, and tactically Inter produced a masterclass. I doubt the final will be a classic, mind you.

I missed the sending off, but if it was as bad a decision as you say then the ref obviously had a shocker. There was nothing wrong with that second Barça goal...

Lucio has been superb throughout the competition. Im pleased that he and Arjen Robben, who has won games for Bayern single handedly will get to face off in the final. Shocking red card for Motta, think a yellow wouldve sufficed though it was cool seeing him do a Drogba! :-)

Lucio's a good player, but don't you just want to drag him up by the hair every time he rolls around in "agony"? I find that side to his game quite repellent.

Liverpool really are shit. It's very sad to see the club which dominated things in the Eighties reduced to what they are now. I remember Dalglish's winner at Stamford Bridge to secure the title.

So do I!

Hard to believe that a team which finished a close second last year is reduced to this, still that is what happens when you have bastard Yank owners who load £250m of debt onto the club and don't support the manager in the transfer market.
