Any Transformers fans here?

#1 Post by transforce »

Just saw the Star Trek thread.

I run Transformers conventions in the London area. Have around 1000 of the toys, including pretty much all of the G1 toys. I have all of the comics (including every issue of the original Marvel UK series).
I commissioned Simon Furman to write a sequel to Generation 2 for my show (read it here http://www.transforce.org.uk/alignmentbook.swf). I was interviewed on the BBC's 'I love 1984' talking about them. I provided special features for two Transformers DVD releases.
Would love to get in touch with any other fans.

My next show is here at Fairfield Halls in Croydon: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Transform ... 4522349515

You might be excited to learn about the next Pet Shop Boys album that will be a concept album about robots!
And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]
[BOOSH! BOOSH!] (What was that?) Pet Shop Boys

that nerdy looking dude that was the star of the first 2 said that the next transformers will be the darkest yet and that lots of humans will die this time.

apparently he doesnt think the last one was anygood.

I like the CGI visuals of the transformer movie, but I find the voice acting terribly cornball.

Megan Fox won't be in it though so they'll going to have to find some new w*** fodder for their target audience. Maybe Cheryl Cole can do it with a Yank dubbing her. :?: They could get a new robot for her to fight which transforms into a toilet attendant.

He was voiced by Frank Welker too, the original voice of Soundwave/Megatron!
