Re: Who Do You Write Like?
It seems to me there's something serious beginning
A new approach found to the meaning of life
Deny that happiness is open as an option
And disappointment disappears over night
Say that love is an impossible dream
Face the facts, that's what it's always been
Relax, what you see is what you've seen
What you get, is a new philosophy
Is David Foster Wallace

And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]
[BOOSH! BOOSH!] (What was that?) Pet Shop Boys

They call this a community
I like to think of it as home
Arriving at the airport
I am going it alone
Ordering a boarding pass
Travelling in business class
This is the name of the game
I'm single, bilingual
Single, bilingual
I come to the community
From U.K. p.l.c.
Arriving at my hotel
there are faxes greeting me
Staying in a junior suite
So there's room to meet and greet
and after work explain how I feel
'Perdoneme me llamo Neil'
I'm single, bilingual
Single, bilingual
Is Ian Fleming

I got David Foster Wallace, three times, three different samples.
It's sort of a dumb thing though- the Russian programmer said there's only 90 writers that the algorithms can compare to. It's the fad of the week on the Net, but that's ok. It's like horoscopes, flattering and you can see what you want in them.

It's probably more accurate than horoscopes...Deschanel wrote:It's like horoscopes, flattering and you can see what you want in them.
We are star stuff which has taken its destiny into its own hands. The loom of time and space works the most astonishing transformations of matter. We are a way for the universe to know itself.

When you're a boy some days are tough
Lying on your bed playing punk rock and stuff
Home is a boot camp you gotta escape
Wanna go and wander in the ticker tape
You feel the deal is real
You're a New York City boy
So young so run
Into New York City
Cory Doctorow !

I was expecting Slavoj zizek but got.... Dan Brown. It's a marketing tool.

I thought the same, as that Doctorow guy from Canada appears much too often.raggatwin wrote:It's a marketing tool.

Prick up your ears.
