The problem with 'Take Me Back' is the problem they have had for years ;- nothing goes together. Even Andy's voice makes you squirm a bit. They write the lyrics, pick any old backing track and try to put them together like David Blunkett and a telescope.It just doesn't seem to match at all.

Unfortunately, you can't buy KLF mp3's anywhere, as far as I know, part of them deleting their entire catalogue.

You can download them though, they are not bothered (and it's on the record, somewhere).
The American releases on Arista are the only in-print way to get KLF music, and that won't last forever.
Got most of the back catalogue on mp3, just missing a few of the rarer releases.

ETA: I think "the record" may be the same interview where Bill admits KSTJ being a PSB pastiche (see Drico's previous post). It rang a faint bell.
Though I still can't remember where I read it.

Arguably thier Most beautiful single 'Manhattan Skyline', was sandwiched between a run of 8 consecutive top ten hits at the beginning of their career. A-Ha had to wait 18 years for another top ten hit, when Analogue sneaked in at number 10 in 2006.

But Blueswan, how is I Saw a "shit" album? On a few Erasure albums, they actually have a strong sense of concept and place, and that is one of them. I doubt the author above could be so intricate about I Could Fall In Love With You. I rarely defend Erasure, and I don't really listen to them anymore, but those who said they always did the same thing were wrong. Listen to I Say, then Erasure, then Cowboy back to back. And then even Loveboat. Sure, Vince is ping pong just like Chris is synth strings, but they did something new each time. The problem is they don't do new lyrical themes very well.

First let me clarify something. I am a fan of Erasure. Not in the same way that I am a fan of PSB or Abba, but Erasure has always been amongst my very favourite acts. I was highly anticipating "I Say I Say I Say" in 1994 since their previous three albums had all been amazing, AND I loved the lead-off single "Always". However, I thought the album was very underwhelming. Sure "Always", "So The Story Goes" and "Run To The Sun" are great and "I Love Saturday" and "Take Me Back" are pretty good. But overall it just sounded very uninspired to me. The tunes were far better on "Chorus" and "Wild" was really inventive. Thankfully they redeemed themselves with "Erasure" in 1995 - but unfortunately that album flopped badly.
