This is where I post good music
If its okay, I'd like to post lesser known songs (well, lesser known in that there's a billion songs out there and these aren't all over the radio) from all genres here frequently. If its too much like this months listening thread I'll stop if asked. But I like to think I have good taste and I'd like to have a nice public forum to post some gems for people to discover.
Gap Band - Big Fun. My fav funky disco song.
Dannii Minogue - More More More (Winter Chill Mix). Excellent chill out mix of nice cover.

Single Gun Theory - Fall. Talk about underrated, one of the best singles to come out of Australia.

And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]
[BOOSH! BOOSH!] (What was that?) Pet Shop Boys

Pogo - Gardyn. The most talented artist to emerge on youtube so far IMO.
David Byrne - Dance On Vaseline (Thievery Corporation Mix). Quirky sexy.

Well, I have to admit I hadn't heard these before. I'm really more into euphoric dance and pop myself, but nice chill out tracks have their time and place also...whateverman42 wrote:As long as at least one person enjoys themmarkus wrote:Good topic, keep 'em coming whateverman!.

I'm partial to chilled mid-tempo stuff, but euphoric dance also has its place.
New Order - Waiting for the Sirens Call (Planet Funk Mix). Best remix of a New Order song.
Matthew Good - Parade. Canadian rock can be good. We're not all Nickelback fans, I swear.
Metric - Eclipse (All Yours). Ignore the Twilight connection.

both Buggles albums are fantastic and are a must have for anyone who thinks they might be a Trevor Horn fan. I do find they work best as background music for some reason. The sounds are very homely. I Am A Camera gets me every time.glennjridge wrote:
