Seeing as I backed £5 on Sunderland at 200/1 in October to win the cup, I think I'll vote for them!

*yawn* I have been supporting Man U since 1985. And I never said that the title should be awarded - only that I hoped they would win as a small consolation for the club and the fans. But hey, I suppose after those many years of winning and winning, we can spare a small triumph for the others. And you're right, showing up to play is a bit of a prerequisite for winning the league.

Dave: That seems like an amazing site. Thanks for the tip! Actually I agree that Man U only have themselves to blame for not beating Porto - it just isn't the team it used to be, at the moment. Apparently they needed Beckham more than Alex Ferguson realised - and I don't think they should have let Veron go either.
And yes, those offside/onside verdicts do perhaps even out in the course of a season, but still it's very annoying that they are so often allowed to ruin a game - in almost every game there is a questionable offside verdict to one side or the other. How difficult can it be to make an electronic measurement? Or at the very least have a fourth referee to watch it on video and override the wrong decisions?

James, i haven't got broadband, i live in a place that time has forgot so if you happen to watch a game, tell us how good/bad it is. Live games on the P.C certainly beat watching and listening to George Best on Soccer Saturday or watching teletext.

Joemoz, good point regarding the 4th official/3rd umpire or whatever trendy name they will eventually get. It will happen but i'm not sure it should. It would be a stop-start all match. Every decision will be contested. Saying that, the 3rd eye should be used to clear up goal line incidents.

Lethe, Manchester United are definatly not finished. They are still better off (points wise) than last season. The problem is, they have too many weak links. Quinton Fortune, Diego Forlan, Phil Neville to name a few. They are ok as squad players but playing all of them at once is asking for trouble. I also think Ryan giggs has had his time. They will sign a few players in the summer, world class players. They have to because more and more teams will catch them up.

However, If Spurs get anything from Old Trafford on Saturday, you might actually be right!

There working these live links watching a match now, be great tomorrow for Chelsea v Arsenal, picture very poor but still better than radio.

But best way to watch them is to turn down PC speakers as commentary in some foreign language and but radio on
