Swedish european song contest finalist!

Okey, the show is just finished, and the winner was "Lena Ph - Det gör ont (It hurts)" written by Orup, once described as "the guy who is trying to become the third pet shop boys member" and I must say that I think there are some PSB influences in this song, especially at the end, very liberation-like/young offender-like ending. Ohh, and for once, the best song won :D

Well, as it's the 30th anniversary of the battle of Waterloo at Eurovision I'm surprised they haven't gone for an Abba rip off, as they did for the 25th anniversary.

Not that I know anything about this kind of thing, as this year was my first ever contest, but didn't the After Dark song deserve to win? It had a lot more... umpf.
'Det gör ont' only gave me all kind of weird assosiations... :roll:

I've not heard any of the Swedish final songs... But it's sort of a rule that usually the best song doesn't get to Eurovision.
