The two great principles are :
1. I am open to anything being possible. Just show me the evidence, good hard evidence.
2. If I don't have evidence or the correct answer, don't give one (an answer).
Our brains can hear, see and smell things that are not there. That is proven.
In its extreme form you have Schizophrenia.
well maybe your the one whose brain is creating symptoms that arent really there. atfter all the UK doctors suggest your issues are psychological.I am assuming they are the experts with scientific data. the brain can definetly do that to you.
likewise, I know me,and I know what I experienced despite the evidence being lacking to satisfy "the experts".

It's not a case of mental disorder. Our brains are designed to spot patterns and when they recieve fragmentory data they can and do fill in the blanks... Look at the way we see faces everywhere when in reality there is merely just the vaguest suggestion of a face. Now extend this to barely heard noises in the dark. The brain is struggling to make sense of insufficient data. Also our memory is really unreliable and the brain rearranges it to form coherent stories. It may be Glenn that your episode didn't take place the way you remember it, but your brain twisted your memories so that they made some kind of sense. None of this makes you mentally ill, it makes you perfectly normal.
No one, not even the most rational scientist or skeptic can trust their own senses and recollections. They are an imprecise tool that uses loads of short-cuts to make sense of the world we live in. That's why skeptics don't rely on eyewitness testimony, and also why it is considered untrustworthy in a court of law. What you can do is be aware of your brain's limitations, which will better inform your interpretations of "spooky" events that happen to you.
All that said, there's no way to entirely disprove the idea of ghosts and spirits, but thus far the evidence beyond "spooky experiences" that can be explained in other ways is vanishingly slim.
We are star stuff which has taken its destiny into its own hands. The loom of time and space works the most astonishing transformations of matter. We are a way for the universe to know itself.
ghosts, haunted houses, mediums, personally I believe its real as I believe there is a realm we cant see and possibly it cant help but bleed into our realm if certain things factor in.
but I also am aware any experience I have or raggatwin or anyone else puts us in the catagory of hard to believe to alot of other people.I get that. anything worthy of the title supernatural should.
poor mole,he wanted to talk about his interview and we turned this into the ouija board gripe thread.
