Is suicide ever ok?
Re: Is suicide ever ok?
quite how you have reached the conclusion I think suicide is a noble act is beyond me. In terms of the consequences on others it is often, if not always, a selfish act. What I am saying is that people may be so low and mentally distraught that they aren't in full control of their actions. I'm also in favour of assisted suicide in certain circumstances, if I was in an accident and had to spend the rest of my life in pain and in a vegetative state I'd rather be allowed to die, I wouldn't be 'living' as such and the burden on others I'd rather not be
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

I must be taking something from what you've both said that isn't there.

I listened to the survivors the other day and found it really uplifting. One of my fave psb songs.

I totally expect in about the year 2100 suicide will be like going to one of those photo booths in the mall.
you'll go in, close the curtain pick what method you want to die by, and then your corpse is jettisoned thru a tube under the mall into a crematorium.

If that's the case, then in 2100, I'd rather visit Glenn's suicide photo booth, than be 121.Radiophonic wrote:We'll be under Jihad rule by then .... well, the UK will be.
