Got a hold of Tom Middleton's 'The Trip' today. It's a 2cd mix/ mash-up of some of Tom's fave tunes that has influenced him over the years. After listening to the first cd (the more 'party' oriented one - the other being more on the chill side) I must say that it was worth.
It's full of the funky joys of Summer. Everyone will know most of the tunes, but not necessarily the artists or versions

He is also signing copies of his album and doing a mini dj set at about 17.00 in Manchester's HMV on Friday. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I can make it. If anyone goes, you can tell him from me what a cracking mix it is

Hit The Brakes and Afraid To Go Home are such great tracks - it's a shame Saint Etienne don't do another b-sides/odds and sods collection. Have you heard Gimp Crisis, b-side of Soft like Me 7" ?
