I've been around the world for a number of reasons. I've seen it all the change of seasons, and I, my lord, may I say nothing?

Re: Garbage - Battle in Me
Oh new Garbage! Didn't know this was happening.
I am a fan, I have the four records. I like good strong production value. But there has always been something about Garbage that's a bit too stilted or "put on" for me to get deep into their music. That said, Version 2 sounded like nothing else when it came out. Beautiful Garbage had some lovely tunes but was ultimately very uneven. The 2005 album is actually possibly my favorite overall. They went back to the old 1995, just punched up a bit, and that was disappointing not to see evolution, but the songs were there, and I guess that counts for a lot. I'd probably go to see them live, seems like they would rock it.

And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]
[BOOSH! BOOSH!] (What was that?) Pet Shop Boys

ARgh, just looked at tour dates, and they have plenty on the west coast, a couple on the East, and they ignore their homeland the midwest. Can't even do Chicago? Really?

That's the UK single. The other new single is this one:
A better track if you ask me. I'm a Garbage fan as well. I think their most perfect album is Version 2.0 (saw them live on that tour), but all of them have their golden moments. Nice to have them back on track!
