where Heart was filmed is having very interesting legends
for example the one about countess Barbara Moscon/Draskovic thrown herself from the top of the tower after a tragic love affair/her lover sailor was bit late from his trip../
Now the castle is hotel/BTW is also used for Weddings....they could use Heart video -specially vampy end for all weddings ceremonies
I discovered another story of Mokřice castle - its about Dora who was poisoned there /wife of Pavel - son of Štefan Gregorijanec ,and there is even stulture of her.
Generally the castle is having quite sad history, specially when partisans attaced Mokrice on New Eves on 1944, and then german soldiars stollen many paintings and even heavy furniture specially from Knight Hall/where the weddings are now taking place.
After 1945 it was nationalised and became home for children and old people/seperately/.
Back in 1444 the first mentioned owners were Sebriach family /last Sigmund was owner until 1558
then was sold to some noble men Raeknitz,Ferenc Tahi, then to Baron Franz Stattenberg.
In 1559 new owner was Ambož Gregorijanec.He had 2 sons -Štefan and Baltazar.
Štefan had 2 sons -pavel and Nikolaj.
And Pavel married Dora Krupičeva /the one who was poisoned by Klara from Samobor -she was jealous..
And Nikolaj married Anna Maria ,they had only daughters Marta who married Ivan Moscon and daughter Anna Barbara who marrieded Peter Erdely /this was had that sailor lover who was bit late for their date,so she jumped down from tower of Mokřice/
Then in the end of 17 the century the Auersperg s familly lived here
Gustav Auersperg married Matilda Baroness Zois -they had daughter Beatrice who married Henrik von Gagern -1874-

They had sans Nikolaj who mfarried Zlate Halfer Sigetska,Ivan Hans/painter - might be nice to see some of his work too and 3rd san Friedrich who became writter.
After this Mokřice castle went into pieces ,because 1/2 was sold to different people, so in 1923 it belonged to Berger s brother only/for 14 years,then they sold it to Zagre archdiocesan seminary -2 years later it becase hotel and then the second world war started..
because we use -ě,š,č,ř,ž,ý,á,í,é -ˇ,ˇ..to me its Mokřice,for you Mokrice.
I d like to know who choosen concreetly this castle and why.
As well it would be interesting to have another contituing of the story/Heart at Mokřice castle
it could be "Love is an catastrophy" or " or "I want a lover"/there is no video for I wan a lover,is there?
