Flemish people are a lot more like the British, always nice and sugarcoating everything, being "polite", not wanting to hurt people (OK< except Bigboy)... e.g. if someone asks you about her new haircut and it's awful a Flemish person will typically say "ooh, it's nice", while a Dutch person will say "honey, what the f**k have you done, you look like a troll, or even worse - Neil Tennant!"
It has its advantages I suppose!
A flemish person will say "well perhaps we could meet up sometime if you'd feel like it and then see about that, if that's ok with you of course..."
a dutch person will go "look, we'll have a meeting tomorrow 12 o' clock and sort it out. See you then."
Looking for love and getting nothing that's worth regretting.

Actually Swedish language sounds like you have a potato in your mouth.. add some sauce and you speak Norwegian.. and if you had put a hot potato then you are doing Danish.dizzy wrote:Certainly not Finns speaking English. That's just an awful accent they've got.
I'm voting Scottish and Irish.
When I've been living abroad some people have occassionally asked me wether I'm Scottish..
Sé que no puedo dormir porque siempre estoy soñando.
