Who needs health care when you've got prayer.

dont joke about that. if you get the diagnosis, even some die hard tough guys take a shot with the "God, I dont know if your up there...but....." routine.

in any case I pay a small co-pay for my visits. my plan working for the county is fantastic. thankfully I havent had to take advantage of it much. although the ridgewoods have a long sad history of going into cardiac arrest and dying at work.

Scapa, I stopped drinking six months ago. If you have to point out my typos and accuse me of alcoholism, because your own points are concern-troll bullshit, you're going personal at me in a way that's simply not true. Like I'm sure my suspicion that you have an unhealthy interest in underage girls is probably untrue. I give you the benefit of the doubt, and on this topic, you are still full of shit.

(And I'm sure "Who needs health care when you can pray to Jesus?" is funny to people that don't live in the savage jungle of American so-called health care. A profit-making death industry that doesn't care about your health, that is the system that has grown so alarmingly like a poisonous weed strangling the rest of the economy, something like ACA is the merest beginning of addressing this massive problem. I applaud it, it is Obama's signature achievement so far, though it's still inferior, it still involves corporate profit. It was a Republican plan to begin with, "Romneycare" in Massachusetts, which he disowns now but has actually been massively successful. Scapa disapproves because, paperwork or something. Some bullshit complaint that betrays his right-wing leanings.

I wish I lived in Ireland or Spain or especially the UK where health care is considered an essential right, not a luxury product left up to the "free market". Maybe then I could laugh at the actual human disaster US "health care" is. This is one small step towards joining the civilized world on this crucial issue. As an uninsured freelancer hitting middle age, it matters to me, it's not a joke. )

Lulz.

It didn't take much searching to find this quote from YOU aimed at glenn from a few years back:
Seriously, you're an embarassment, that your big mouth is such a presence at PSB Community, and that almost everything you have to say is either FOX talking points or something racist or homphobic. You twist things into the most vile pretzels of logic, and I swear I think you're drunk when you post here. You're the poster-boy for why Americans are currently despised, your song-and -dance confirming their worst prejudices. And a big-mouth about it, too.
Concern-troll bullshit much?

Your drunk anger rant posting is well known on the forum. Do excuse someone for pointing it out (and many apologies for some reasonable points on the ACA that no one but you could find fault with me making-especially since we are like-minded on the issue).

Not to mention that my "typo-bashing" was in response to your "bitchely (sic)" take on my typo. I'd rather have one encrusted ear that likes to listen hear the sweet music of kiddies on the playground then not have a damn clue what I posted 5 minutes ago.
And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]
[BOOSH! BOOSH!] (What was that?) Pet Shop Boys

Scapa, Glenn and I get on remarkably well, with sympathy and friendship these days.

I said I stopped drinking six months ago. The shit you dragged up from years ago seems incredibly irrelevant. That you wasted your time dredging that up, with malice towards me. Went out of your way.

I accept your accusation that the entire PSB Community considers me a vicious nasty drunk with nothing to contribute, conversation-wise, about the amazing music of Pet Shop Boys. Nothing I can do about that, except to say I stand by every f*** thing I've ever deigned to write here. With a few exceptions, what a bunch of bores and pills and weirdos like you. Weirdly, I actually like a lot of your thinking and topics on the music here; I think you're really smart and perceptive. I always tend to like your original posts. You have good smart things to say about PSB music.

But now you are saying I don't, that I'm just a drunk though my sobriety is six months and ongoing. You mock that, you mock me. You said i was drunk last night on different topics here, as if my typos were proof of that. rather than just typos. Dealing with a hostile person like yourself is so tiresome; I don't know why you think you're clever for dredging up an old fight with Glenn, or loudly calling me an alcoholic because I disagree with you about US health care. Are you mad at me because I protested how trollish and child-molestery you were a while back? When you posted images of kids with a certain pervy glee? Remember that? It was bad enough that I vowed to flee this f*** place if you persisted. It disgusted me.

So, call me a drunk, I'd rather be a drunk Deschanel (though I actually don't drink now) than you on your best day. Call me a crazy drunk all you want, your aspect around here is either weird or hostile. Go f*** deal with yourself, and seriously, get off my ass, stop hassling me here as a hobby.

I didnt even remember that incident which just goes to show you how little these disgreements mean.
most of us get in so many arguments and then end up laughing about something later. I mean who really takes these things seriously.

I'd have been pushing up daisies 15 years ago if I thought prayer to fictitious characters was the answer. Equally so if I'd had to pay for treatment. Good job for me we have the NHS over here.
