At a tiny venue in Portsmouth. It was a really good gig with a great atmosphere- has anyone else seen them yet?
I would be interested to know what you thought.

I've seen them in Leeds and I'm going to see them again, again in Leeds, in a few weeks. Better live than I expected them to be.

They were excellent, a bit retro but that's a good thing from my point of view. I can see why the Boys have worked with them. No doubt they will be playing far larger venues next time they tour here alone. ( I'm not talking about the Durannie support thing!)

I noticed that some of the up-coming dates in Manchester & Glasgow have up-graded to larger venues. I agree that they really are worth the money live, although Ana Matronic is slightly scary.

She is quite in your face, I agree. She certainly seemed to scare the men in the immediate vicinity last night!

What makes them so special? They haven't produced anything better than what Worstlife has released so far!!!

I don't know what you mean by over-rated, I don't rate them amongst my favourite bands of all time but they are very entertaining and have produced some good tunes! As to the Wetflies comparison, I'm not sure where that has come from- the Scissors do at least play instruments and don't sit on stools for the most of each song, then get up just before the key change! Neither has everything they have done been a cover version!
Each to their own though.

By the way, LBB, that response was a long time coming!
