AM I the only one amazed that Diana Vickers new single "Cinderella", a brilliant piece of modern pop music, has just limped to number 76 in the UK charts? It's a really good pop tune, she has a unique voice and writes her own stuff. Obviously too "intelligent" for the download generation....

In the August issue of Mojo Neil Tennant talks about John Grant. I'd never heard of him before so I looked him up on youtube and really liked his songs. I bought his album Pale Green Ghosts a couple of days ago and it's really fantastic!

I don't know what genre of music he makes but it's great stuff. He uses quite a lot of electronic instruments.
