Not sure how many here might be interested to discuss it but, I always watch the show. It wasn't bad. I love Ellen.
So what do you make of U2's performance? I find them totally overrated, but the song was nice. Do you think they should have won?
What about Bette Midler? I though she looked fantastic, better than when she was young, but her performance, and orchestration, were so freaking boring! And I love her.
And Pink singing the tribute to The Wizard Of Oz? I do realize that Liza can't hold notes very well anymore, and she doesn't perform this song ("it's been sung"), but Pink? I am not a fan, I was surprised by her vocals and her look, but the song felt hurried (people seem to always try and come up with new ways to perform "Over The Rainbow").
On the plus side, I was sooooo happy they chose to not once again overshadow the In Memoriam section by highlighting a performance on stage, so much that often the camera only shows the performer instead of the recently departed!
