Very sad to hear the news about Robin Williams death which is being seen as most probably suicide due to depression which he has suffered with most of his life.
Some brilliant films he was in include one of my favourites of all time which is Patch Adams as well as the fantastic Dead Poets society, Good will hunting and of course Good morning Vietnam.
Very funny man indeed and a sad day. Will be missed by many.
Rest in peace.

What a sad end for a fine man`s life, his demons were stronger. Great actor, his characters on screen will live forever. I was so impressed with him in Dead Poets Society and Fisher King. May he rest in peace.

I was sorry to hear about his passing. I am not a big film watcher due to my many nights in the theatre and at concerts, but I loved Popeye and The Birdcage. I have also watched one of his standup shows on video. He had a wonderful talent and it is such a shame that he was yet another "sad clown".

There is a PSB "connection" via Sondheim in that Christine Baranski and Robin Williams sang Sondheim's Love is in the Air in The Birdcage and of course the Boys covered Losing My Mind and arranged and co-produced Liza's version.

The thing about him was that he was so unique that he made every part he played memorable. Patch Adams is a brilliant example and is quite strange and fitting really because he plays a guy who himself struggled with depression for many years.
