i noticed all dance falvored fans love the 80's because thats the roots.

I am surpised too few chose 1970's because thats the disco era

or 1960's where classic rock is from. Apparently rockers loves the 1960/1970 era but this is a PSB oriented fan forum where its electronic music/dance. :wink:

the 80's cause thats when i was a kid/teen and really got into music

not only that it was really quite unique and new considering the years before and some of the greats that are still around emerged in the 80's

PSB, Annie Lennox, Madonna, Boy George etc.

all the music today sucks S**T, all the good music is in the past. No one has nothing to sing about nowadays so all they do is covers/remixes/remakes or just steal ideas from the past!

and weird al emerged out of the 80's too

when it was fun to parody music

because music today just parodies itself anyway

In my car I only listen to 'radiottanta' (translation: radio eighties) which aires only music from that period

I'd have to disagree. My musical tastes (generally) span from about 1980 when I was 5, (and yes I do remember that far back and further than that too!) to about 1993 when I was 18.
My favourite, favourite stuff amongst that would have been about 1983 until 1990, so more of my favourite stuff was in the years before I was a teenager than during.

Let's be honest - there was only ever going to be one winner in this poll. ;)

disagree also, i was a boy when it was the 80s, i remembered "Why dont we live together" on radio when it came out, i have good memory.

That one vote for the 70's would be me then. Also, the 60's would have been my choise, if I could.
PSB is close to the only synth-ish stuff I listen to these days. The odd electronic trance tune, but mostly old rock a la Led Zeppelin, Leaf Hound and The Who (and my friends in The Hounds, of course 8) ) Maybe it's just a phase... :wink:
