Nelly Furtado - any fans?

i just got her new CD "folklore" yesterday and its really good

anyone else like it or have it?

Yup, I'm a fan. I've been listening to 'Powerless' loads recently - very catchy. She has a certain uniqueness about her music, and a very distinctive voice. :)

same, she's a good artist - first album was so unique and really catchy

Trivia:

She's from my city (Victoria)... and even my high school... Mount Douglas Sr. Sec. if anyone's interested :)

(I graduated 20 years+ after she did, so no, I don't know her)

"Powerless" is a fantastic song and her album is pretty cool too!

I never really liked her last stuff (eg I'm like a bird) but her current stuff is great...

the new single is TRY and its awesome

I hope it helps with album sales

I really like one trick pony too

such a nice CD - a good follow up too

usually sophomore CDs aren't so good

She is surprisingly quite good for her field and would appear to be improving.
