Hi MUSIC0LOOG! Let me say first that your work with edits an mixes is great.
But about what you said on that previous lines, let me disagree. As an example, you said previously on this thread when posting the "Hold On" link:
"a version without
the additional male vocals,
previously unreleased."
..of course you can argue that this mix
(as happens with every unofficial or fan mix ever made until the day it appears online for the first time
) was "previously unreleased", but that consideration is a clear reference about an "official" stuff surfacing for the first time, not about an unofficial version. It´s a common sense deduction, every word in that description is written as if referring to an officially unreleased version. Doing versions that really sound official, naming them as if they were that, and not clarifying they´re not is a guileful procedure...with a confusing (un?)intentional consequence. For sure you know that and you're playing this game for some reason

.
I also saw some comments on your videos (I always follow your channel!) asking if the mixes on your channel are official or not..and your response was also vague ("some things are and some things not", with no specifications...). As you can see this kind of 'not clear' information is something that real fans and collectors don´t enjoy very much... :/
Mostly because if happens that a mix in your channel is a real official mix that you had exclusive access somehow and you're so kind to share it with the world ("some things are, some things not"...) it will be a shame if it gets disqualified as being another of your own unofficial works. Even if they´re great there is a big clear line between both things. And I´m not talking just about the PSB stuff...
I think you will understand what I´m saying!
Luckily I live in a country, Oznerol, where people can have their own opinion and can freely discuss... so I can handle the disagreements, and of course thanks for your kind words as well
I even understand the points of view. But... (oh oh, there's a 'but'...) real fans and collectors over here surely know the difference between official and unofficial versions (I hope). Then there are the greedy, lazy, 'unaware' so-called fans/collectors, well, I really don't want to make it easy or easier for them. I give my own versions the titles/names (and artwork) I think are suitable and easy to find in my own library. But I must admit these last few posts made me realize I shouldn't share my edits anymore, it's too confusing for some people out there. As a pacifist I don't want anyone got (mentally) hurt. A shame though, as lots of my edits I made on demand and because I'm a huge fan/collector like you all here as well. Many of my edits have been played on various national and local radio-stations, which pay royalties to the artists/labels/owners. Therefor I consider some of my edits semi-official. In fact my
Memory Of The Future (Digital Dog Radio Mix) got heavy rotation. Yeah!!
I sometimes use the addition 'previously unreleased' as I've never posted that specific edit/mix before somewhere else. I've got quite some followers on various sites, so I don't see the point I couldn't use it, simply because it has been used on official music items?? It is a common term without any patent and to be honest I think it's a bizarre term anyway, as soon as something has been released it isn't 'previously unreleased' anymore, right?
Please, let's put things in perspective... no-one has been harmed by thinking they got his/her hands on an unique, official, hidden treasure and it turns out to be
another one uploaded by Musicoloog...
To cut a long story short: Don't worry my fellow PSB-fans, there will be no more future uploads, at least not PSB-related...
(Sorry, bootleg-people... My last three
completely unofficial, 100% home-made, as fake as fake can be mixes (
I Want A Dog) I've uploaded to YouTube... so, hurry hurry hurry...)
There I said it, my final thoughts on the subject and guess what...still no hard feelings!
I'm probably way to sober-minded to post on forums, there are other things in life, the world, to worry about
