Undertow to be released as next single

Thanks to Drem for this

This is the Farrow-designed cover of the "Undertow" three-track CD which will come exclusively with copies of the new Annually book. Go to the Store on this site to pre-order your copy. A four-track vinyl 12-inch will also be commercially released at a later date to be announced shortly.

It's a bit thin to call this a single, no? It's not readily available and Undertow only represents 33% of the disc's content.
I sincerely *love* Disco 2 and listen to it straight through regularly.

Why? It's getting a 12" release and the tracks will probably be released digitally too.

What I find bizarre is how people readily accept Axis being a single despite being a 1 track digital release with one digital remix released a week later then a very limited 12" months later with no new content. Inner sanctum is far more of a single...

I lost track of what constitutes being a single years ago.

Exactly. It's a bit bizarre when you have a tiny 5 inch cd single of Twenty-Something and a whopping 12 inch single of Inner sanctum with its glossy inner sleeve and someone says Inner sanctum isn't a single but Twenty-something is. It's like saying an American isn't a human being (can I get away with that? -ed.)

    Can someone please elaborate on the details of this release? Mixes? Where this information came from? (I'm not talking about the information we already know about Annually)

    Pet Shop Boys have published their own magazine, Literally, since 1989 and last year announced it would become an annual publication. Now we are happy to announce a new name and format. From now on Literally is Annually, a bigger (240 x 170 mm), hard-backed, 64-page book.       So exactly one year after Super, probably the closing chapter of the Super-era, release-wise. It was a good project, hopefully there are more to come in the nearer future. Thanks PSB!
