Why? Because choosing the antisemitic commie scum and EU whore Corbyn would have been the sensible choice?Scottydog wrote: Fri 13 Dec 2019, 9:32 am Absolutely brilliant. So surreal to listen to those lyrics first thing this morning while reading the news. I guess the country did decide. Deliberate or not that was impeccable timing Boys!

I’m sorry but I think your opinion in quite offensive. Of course you can vote whoever you want but we should respect other people’s options. Only future will tell who was right.
Re: Decide (Burning the Heather b-side)
And that's why we face years of Hell ahead of us, because morons like you are allowed to vote. Read-out screens for the Murdoch press.alig wrote: Fri 13 Dec 2019, 4:54 pmWhy? The country plumbed for sanity and told Corbyn, the Anti Brexit crowd and the global warming morons to piss off.

Please let's not turn this into mayhem. Just hide their posts and move on. I'm learning the hard way...

alig's comment was not political. It was just one huge slur on millions of people, not to mention being a pack of lies. Normally I'd let stuff like this go but after last night I think people like him should be sterilised.herts101 wrote: Fri 13 Dec 2019, 5:34 pm Come on. This is not the place for politics.

Re: Decide (Burning the Heather b-side)
This thread now contains posts expressing the views of both the main political parties in the U.K. or at least some of their supporters, which those in the other one are likely to find offensive.
Some are very explicit. Others are more passive aggressive.
Let’s not do this here. There’s plenty of space on Twitter to sound off.
Not replying again since otherwise I become part of the problem.
Still loving the Decide. Can’t get the volume in my headphones loud enough!

I wonder whether PSB considered Decide for the final track on HotSpot? It feels like the perfect climax, much as Integral was for Fundamental.
Love comes quickly, but is a catastrophe and a bourgeois construct etc.

How can you know, not having heard the album? Maybe it's an album for which a more relaxed ending is fitting..guess we'll just have to wait and find out?CroMagnon wrote: Fri 13 Dec 2019, 6:14 pm I wonder whether PSB considered Decide for the final track on HotSpot? That’s the thing about negative energy, about hatred. It can be positive. It throws into relief all the things you know you like. It tells you, by elimination, what you’re about. Sometimes you can only define yourself by what you hate. Hatred becomes an inspiration; it makes you think, “What I’m doing now I totally believe in, and I don’t care what other people say.” Guided by hatred, you don’t have to follow the herd. - Neil Tennant

Sounds more like a stand-alone epic artists used to release in the 80s. *not that I would know, I was born in the year of Very*
P.S. For now Decide is to me THE era-defining epic in the same way Axis/Vocal were for the Electric-era or the way The Pop Kids was for the SUPER-era.
