And Doncaster Rovers are up as champions!

They'll probabaly not get the chance to play each other as Doncaster go up into the first division and Leeds come down into the second!

I watched the 1st half and i have to say what a poor decision to send off Viduka. Couldn't believe the result when i heard it.

Spurs today - utter garbage. Very fortunate that Wolves didn't start the season with the team they have now and if Leicester hadn't gone to La Manga, Spurs would have been relegated too.

Bolton have been an outstanding team this season. Let's hope that a midfield force of Okocha, Rivaldo, Campo and Djorkaef next season does wonders.

If Newcastle and Villa lose their remaining games, and Bolton win they could possibly clinch a place in Europe next season!!!

Bad luck Leeds. I have been worried about City's survival for many weeks now, and cant imagine how much relegation would have hurt City, and how much it will hurt Leeds.

If City hadnt have been top of the league in September, we would have been relegated by now. 3 wins in 25!!!

I was feeling awful all the way through the second half, and when they showed Smith at the end, and that little lad with "Leeds Till I Die" written across his front crying, I felt my eyes watering myself. It's been on the cards all season, but it's so hard to reconcile with the optimism I was feeling just 3 years ago....

I would feel like the world had ended if my team add gone down so i can understand how bad you must be feeling.

Just have to hope for the best next season but it's going to be very hard for you with all players going.

Poor old Rob is having a hard time. York have gone down too.

I too felt a bit sad when I saw that young lad at the Leeds match chanting along with everyone else there with tears streaming down his face on the news earlier.

It's a nasty experience being relegated, but let me tell you, it's a lot worse going out of the professional league altogether because of the actions of your chairman. Rovers fans know all about that, although thankfully we're on the up and up now, but York fans must know how that feels now too. The parallels are very similar.

I'm a bit sad for York, but only because I live here. I look out for York's results, but Leeds is my team, and I am sickened today. We may not have been relegated from the professional; league, but we have gone from being consistent top five Premiership finishers to relegation in two seasons. It's disgusting the mess that has been made of the club. I just hope the drop isn't terminal...

The papers were saying it could take Leeds years to rebuild and that they will probably have to sell off their decent players in order to make ends meet. Thats pretty grim, especially since- werent they rather decent last year? Top 4-ish for a while?

Will be interesting to see what Chelsea cobble together for next season though- but you have to wonder at the theory of throwing loads of money at a team.

It'll be a hard slog next season if there's no money and your best players have gone. Fingers crossed that they can overcome the problems facing them though, my friend.

Well, it's not all down to money, but having a new chairman throw £4,000,000 of his own money into Doncaster Rovers has gone a some way into helping us go from Conference to Division 3 to Division 2 in two seasons!

Leeds will be straight back. The only way they wont return is if they go out of extinction. Robinson, Smith and Viduka will be gone but it wont make any difference in division 1. The reason they were relegated is because too many of the players are division 1 standard. They will compete near the business end of the nationwide. I think they will be straight back up.

The advantage they have is they will be able to recruit good players for that division for next to nothing and have more pulling power than any other team. Administration will be a major factor because i think it stops teams buying players.
