Corona Virus - tips, rants etc... (Light hearted if at all possible please).

#1 Post by Marie loves PSB »

Hi - Continuing from the poll about cancelling the tour etc... It is becoming more virus talk than PSB's (expected anyway). So, please be free and post on here. I am becoming very worried as most of you and it is very depressing now that I do not want to sit thorough the news.

The super markets are manic and there are two of us here that are classed as in the at risk group and have to stay in for 13 weeks. (It will never happen - there is food to buy and loo roll if you are lucky enough).

The only laugh I have seen is that on the front of one of the newspapers there is a man buying a lot of Nicky toilet rolls etc... Well, we managed to get some of that toilet roll and we cannot use it. It has lotion infused talc in it and stinks. Unusable! So, Home Bargains have had the last laugh there - you have been warned! :)

The rant is people still don't get it all here - sneezing and coughing all on the bus without covering or using a tissue.

I'm just glad I can work from home.
There are signs everywhere and public service announcements being played but people aren't taking it seriously.
I'm really hoping in the next week people will start taking it seriously and be on high alert.
It's an extremely contagious disease.
Here in Australia they're shutting down all schools, and really all non-essential places such as bars, restaurants and retailers. (Basically only keeping petrol stations and supermarkets open)

It's hard to be light hearted.
How's this image though, made me laugh.

Breathtaking hypocrisy from the person who had the nerve to say this to a fellow member... :shifty:

"keep it on facebook, mate. this forum is for us to discuss the band"

I don't know the way UK is going to face the economic depression without the help from European Union.

Got a feeling it may be the other way round, Sunshine, but I could be wrong..

Unlike Spain Britain does pretty well for itself economically. The real question is where is the money going to come from in the EU to bail out all those countries that have never contributed and have nothing to fall back on in the first place.

You seem to give the impression that the EU has an endless amount of money when the opposite is true. Especially now our massive contributions are ending!

Try and do a bit of research before posting such nonsense!

I don't think people in UK wanted to leave the EU if they knew what was going to happen. By the way, UK has a debt of huge amount of money with the EU.

Sorry, a debt with the EU? Are you serious? We have been paying BILLIONS in for decades now!

Britain is not Spain. Please try and understand that!

Slight change of topic but have you EVER actually spoke any sense whatsoever about anything? You seem to make things up as you go along and talk total and utter nonsense not just about PSB but it would now seem everything else too!

This pandemic is not about politics, being in the EU or not would not change anything! This is a time where ALL nations of the world will work together in order to beat this horrible illness.

Stop the nonsense, educate yourself and stop making this into something it isn't and that is totally irrelevant.

I couldn't agree more with you, JSDOUVRES. Alas, you are wasting your time trying to reason with nickname. He's a lost soul..
